Jamia Tulama Bajali traces its foundational ideals to the venerable tradition of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, established in 1919 as a champion of India's independence struggle, composite nationalism, and community welfare. Over the years, our district committee in Bajali was formalized to address localized community challenges in Lower Assam.
Every year during the monsoon season, the Brahmaputra tributaries cause immense havoc in villages across Bhawanipur, Pathsala, and Patacharkuchi blocks. Jamia Tulama Bajali volunteers are among the first to wade into waist-deep floodwaters with rescue boats, food supplies, and essential medicines.
